Mathura worked to reflect Subway’s “fresh / fast” brand in interiors: using natural finishes, fresh color accents, transparent food walls, and clean layouts. The firm made the design not just functional, but brand expressive — every element reinforcing freshness.
Some outlets felt generic and lacked brand character; queueing areas overlapped dining zones. Mathura separated service flow from seating, improved sightlines, and introduced brand cues in finishes. The redesign reduced confusion, improved throughput, and made the brand presence stronger.
