Mathura adapted Costa’s global café identity to local climate and culture. They refined interiors to balance brand warmth (wood, neutral tones, red accents) with local materials and comfort. Layouts, seating, lighting, and digital touchpoints were tailored to create inviting café experiences in Indian settings.
Costa’s global design sometimes proved impractical in Indian conditions — durability, heat, foot traffic issues, and inconsistent store look. Mathura solved these by selecting climate-resilient materials, optimizing layouts for local flow, and standardizing store design modules. The outcome: more consistent brand execution, lower maintenance, better customer comfort.
